教育部两天前宣布的2012和2014、小一和小四、中一与中四开始回归母语与国文教数理,根本就是狗屁不通,本末倒置的决定。
整个事件,给我的感觉是政治秀多过为教育着想,教部一方面要讨好民众,一方面又担心老马势力反扑,在没有经过大脑,只通过屁股去思考,就产生出狗屁不通的政策。
数理科是要运算,媒介语是要易于明白,通过英文教数理来提升英文本是笑话,现在却以巫英交替来教导,变成大杂烩的烂把戏。
小学由母语作为媒介语,学生有一定的基础和认识,中学再转成英语,就易于掌握,这么简单。
就不明白简单的事为何要复杂化,难道只有这样才能显得自己高明?
提升数理和英文水平是应该,但把它们当成是三合一即溶咖啡来办,只苦了学生,肥了承包商。

这就是没有深思熟虑的结果。
反正2012年离现在还有三年,还有很多更改的空间。
不过要小心,有个马来人协会要争取中学以上,包括大学都完全用国语。

错了,错了,提升母语(华文)才是应该,其他都不必理会。最好中学,大学都用华文教学。

Improve the standard of our English and maths and science subjects are two separate issues; please do not confuse or mix the two issues together.
One just can not solve the two issues with one solution. It has to be two separate solutions.
All the languages are important to Malaysians, however, the maths & science subjects can be taught and learned in whatever languages one feels comfortable with or more competent with.
In other words, one can optimise the use of languages when learning science and maths during initial stage of one's learning life.
Students should be able to learn and use English in secondary school with confidence if the foundation of English was well prepared during the primary school years.
